The Wolverine Trailer(s) Unleashed!

Released today were two trailers for the forthcoming Hugh Jackman movie The Wolverine - one domestic (above), one international (below). Wolverine, aka Logan, is a member of the X-Men and The Avengers who is a mutant with claws and a healing factor that enables him to recover from any wound, no matter how fatal to others. It also prolongs his life far longer than any human could live as it slows down the aging progress considerably. In the comics he is well over a century and doesnt look older than a man in his late 30s/early 40s. Set in Japan, the movie seems to be about Logan looking for a cure to his healing factor making him mortal and vulnerable to weapons. The brief glimpse of Jean Gray (played by Famke Janssen) suggests hes still traumatised by having to kill the love of his life in X-Men: The Last Stand to save the world, and is looking for a way out. Yikes! Pretty grim stuff for a summer movie, Wolvie! But there looks to be some good action in here with a fight atop a bullet train and a claws vs sword fight with the adversary of the movie, the Silver Samurai.
