Universal Reveals Opening Date For Epic New Theme Park

Universal Orlando Resort announces Epic Universe Will Open 22nd May 2025.

The news theme park fans have been waiting for has finally been announced. Universal Orlando Resort have revealed the opening date of their brand new park.

Universal's Epic Universe is set to open its doors to guests on 22nd May 2025.

The new theme park in Orlando is set to feature 5 worlds for guests to explore, the majority of which are based on movies you know and love.

You can enter the world of Harry Potter and find yourself riding the elevators at the Ministry of Magic. Fly through the air with Hiccup's Wing Glider's in How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk . Take on Donkey Kong's Mine-Cart Madness coaster in Super Nintendo World. You can even come face-to-face with Universal's Classic Monsters in the Dark Universe world.

If that wasn't enough there's the astronomical world of Celestial Park. Here can be found what promises to be the park's ultimate thrill experience. Celestial Park's Stardust Racers will once again see the return of a duelling coaster to Universal Orlando Resort.

Epic Universe will also bring with it three new hotels, with Universal Helios Grand Hotel set to have stunning views over Epic Universe.

Tickets for Universal's Epic Universe go on sale 22nd October. Annual Passholders for Universal Orlando Resort can purchase individual day tickets for the park. UK guests are able to purchase The 2025 Explorer ticket giving 14 + 1 day park ticket for Universal Orlando Resort that will allow access to Universal's Epic Universe for one day only. Whilst in 2026, UK visitors will be able to purchase the All Parks Ticket that gives ultimate flexibility across all Universal's four theme parks.

With Epic Universe opening in just 7 months time, it won't be long until we get to experience one of the most immersive theme parks ever built!
