Warner Bros. acquire book proposal, probably from the title alone

I AM A GENIUS OF UNSPEAKABLE EVIL AND I WANT TO BE YOUR CLASS PRESIDENT!

I Am a Genius of Unspeakable Evil and I Want to Be Your Class President might be the best title for a book I've ever seen and hopefully by the time Warner Bros. are done producing it, the film will keep the title intact. The studio have acquired the book proposal from The Daily Show With Jon Stewart scribe Josh Lieb who will also adapt the script for McG to produce...

The premise centers on a chubby 13-year old boy who everybody assumes is the dumbest kid in the seventh grade. He really is an evil genius and the third-richest person on the planet, with a secret compound beneath his unsuspecting family's modest suburban home. He hides his identity to keep himself safe from his enemies and because he can't legally claim his empire until he turns 18. The story concerns the boy's attempt to prove himself in the eyes of his do-gooder father by being elected class president. Unfortunately, the tactics he uses to stage coups in Central America prove to be less effective in running a middle-school campaign.
HILARIOUS! Apparentlay many of the studio's who were rivalling Warner Bros. for the book rights to the novel were extremely surprised when WB hired McG (Charlie's Angels, upcoming Terminator IV) to produce as his usual work is completely different to the spirit of the book. Guess we will wait and see. LOVE THIS PREMISE! Here's an image of the book's author who I'm pretty convinced the main character will be moddeled around him... source - the hollywood reporter
