Watch: Django Unchained Trailer - 30 Second Preview

Tarantino, you had our curiosity and now you have our attention!

Entertainment Weekly have posted a thirty second preview clip from Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" trailer that will be online in its entirety later today. The trailer will also be attached to US prints of "Prometheus" that hits US cinemas on Friday. If you can stomach the usual EW voice-overs and the trailer for the teaser trailer nonsense, the preview clip is rather good and gives us the best sense yet of the tone Tarantino is going for with his black slavery, spaghetti western epic. Watch it below; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FbCv7JPqVU&feature=player_embedded The trailer focuses on our main trio, title character Django (Jamie Foxx); a black slave turned gunslinger, Dr. King Schlutz (Christoph Waltz); a former dentist turned eccentric bounty hunter and the villainous Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio); a plantation owner who is holding Django's wife as a slave. The highlight from the trailer is clearly DiCaprio's snickering turn and chewing the scenery of Tarantino's crackling dialogue. Foxx and Waltz look great but there's no doubt this is the DiCaprio show and I can't wait to see this thing in full later today. Django Unchained is due Christmas Day (US) and January 2013 (UK).
