Marvel & Joss Whedon's superhero ensemble blockbuster is due in theaters April 27th (UK) and May 4th (US).
Marvel Studios will release a brand new trailer for The Avengers later today, due to go live at 5pm GMT this afternoon on iTunes. Trailer is now live and embedded below; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPoHPNeU9fc Marvel announced on their official Facebook page on Sunday that the trailer was coming today, and with the reveal of the new poster yesterday we heard the trailer would premiere at 5pm GMT time via Apple. The Avengers, or 'Avengers Assemble' as it is now seemingly known in the UK to avoid confusion for the over 40's audiences with the old 60s spy TV series and later 90's film remake, will actually hit theaters on April 27th 2012, actually earlier on these shores than they will in the US. I guess not a bad price to pay for getting Marvel's superhero ensemble spectacular a little earlier than our American friends. Stateside, The Avengers will be released May 4th, 2012.
