5. Peter Dinklage As Bolivar Trask

Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask Bolivar Trask is the creator of the Sentinels. The 30 foot purple robots designed with just one purpose. To hunt down and kill mutants. Bolivar was an anthropologist and saw in the newly emergent mutant population a threat that could possibly challenge humanity, so set to designing these robots in the hope that they would be enough to combat them. He saw examples throughout history of where people had been subjugated by those with more power, and felt the natural result of mutants being allowed to go unchecked was that they would eventually try to enslave humanity. This is something Professor Xavier contested passionately and this conflict made up the crux of the story. Bolivar Trask and the Sentinels made their first appearance in X-Men #14 (volume one), this is an important issue as it marked the first time X-Men began publishing monthly.
