The final team on our roster is the poet and the strategist of Wei – Cai Wenji and Xun You. Wenji, also known as Cai Yan, was the daughter of a respected courtier of the Han Empire who was kidnapped by the Xianbei, a Mongolian tribespeople that lived north of China. In her adult years Cao Cao, who respected Cai Yan's father, negotiated her release. She remains one of the most famous poets in Chinese history to this day.

Xun You, on the other hand, was the younger nephew of Cao Cao's chief adviser through much of his earlier career, Xun Yu (who is also a playable character). Xun You is presented in the game as a cold, calculating individual of resolute tactical genius – which is kind of funny because in reality he died of grief after Cao Cao teased him.

So why are they both together on this list? Because they are basically the same character with different musou attacks. They use very similar weapons, their fighting styles are similar, and their stats aren't altogether different, either. In my opinion Xun You has a slightly better moveset and special attack, but Cai Wenji has a better musou. So they tie on this list.
