League of Legends gets a bad rep, and a good amount of people avoid it all together because of that. The game has changed considerably since early days but perceptions haven’t, though with that said, Riot have implemented more than enough new features in to the game to make it worth a second look.

Even when you ignore the plethora of new items, champions and map changes, League Of Legends has received a few major quality of life upgrades over the past year or so.

Players can now declare their role and champion before the game begins, completely eliminating the stressful rush to get the spot you wanted and ensuing arguments because somebody didn’t get their way. There are even bonuses now for being sportsman-like, Riot will gift players premium content for a number of reasons.

Whilst the grind to unlock newer characters can still be frustrating, there are plenty of older characters who’ve had their prices lowered and the pool of free characters you can play each week has increased too.
