Video games have evolved from being childish past times to fully realised, virtual realms. The gaming industry has developed and evolved into what is now one of the biggest entertainment industries. Due to this, gamers have changed. As the industry has matured, so have gamers. Gamers now expect more complex, complicated games with numerous features for the game to even be considered standard. Games that came out 20, even just as soon as around 5 or 6 years ago would now be discarded, thrown aside and laughed at. This article is focusing on the game mechanics, the game-play, the features included and how the industry and gamers have changed since. Let's get started!
