10 Extremely Rare Video Game Perks You Didn't Know Existed
5. Meat of Champions - Fallout: New Vegas
The story of Fallout: New Vegas revolves around three dominant factions in the Mojave: the NCR, Caesar’s Legion, and New Vegas’ mysterious leader, Mr. House. To settle the oncoming war between them, you can choose to support one of these powers, rise up to all of them, or, if you want to gain a special hidden perk, eat the flesh of their leaders!
As is tradition in the Fallout series, in Fallout: New Vegas the player can become a man-eater by picking up the Cannibal perk. Aside from letting you roleplay an unhinged postapocalyptic connoisseur, the trait is a great source of health, since each fellow human you consume restores 25 health points.
This is pretty great as is, but if you use the perk to consume the flesh of the three leaders of Mojave’s major factions, President Kimball, Caesar, and Mr. House, you can make the benefits of your “diet” even better, as the deed will unlock the secret “Meat of Champions” perk.
The trait buffs your cannibal acts even further by giving you one-minute buffs to your luck, intelligence, charisma, and strength each time you eat someone!
After all, you are what you eat!
