10 Gaming Franchises That Deserve To Be Revived

Square Enix made the decision to focus more heavily on games centered around Marvel rather than focus on their own franchises, and the results have not been great. Marvel’s Avengers has been a flop with players and its poor reception has many looking skeptically at Guardians of the Galaxy before it has even released.

But this could be the excuse fans of the Deus Ex franchise need for Square Enix to reconsider the future of the series and give it a new game. And when you take a closer look at what the franchise has to offer, it is easy to see why fans want to see it make a return.

The creative level design and engaging gameplay offers players a variety of ways to play, while the interesting stories, well written dialogue and immersive worldbuilding helps players believe they are exploring a dystopian future full of secret organisations engaging in proxy wars.

A revival of the franchise would be a great PR win for Square Enix while also giving fans of the franchise hope that they will be able to see a return of characters like Adam Jensen in their first game since Mankind Divided back in 2016.
