Who said the Xbox One doesn't give you enough reasons to buy one? The eternal battle between Microsoft, Sony and (to a lesser extent) Nintendo rages on, and while the PlayStation 4 certainly has the superior sales numbers and install base to boast about, Microsoft is no further behind its competitor than Sony was with the PlayStation 3. Indeed, the Xbox 360 is almost universally considered to be the superior console of the last generation, but the poor start of its successor with controversial design choices and near-suicidal business practices have left the One on the back foot ever since. What Microsoft's loyal customers need now, more than ever, is the tantalising promise of a fantastic line-up of exclusives for 2016, and wouldn't you know it, that's just what they're going to have. And the melting pot of great exclusives is far more diverse than you may have first thought. Big-hitters like Crackdown 3 are present and accounted for, of course, but there's so much more between that we have to look forward to. The indie scene has great representation with the likes of Ashen and Cuphead, and mid-tier exclusives from acclaimed Japanese developers are all on the upcoming schedule.
