10 Incredible Details You Missed In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
7. A Familiar Grave In The Forgotten Temple
This entry will contain spoilers for the Dragon Tear Memories.
Tears of the Kingdom returned to Breath of the Wild's tried and true storytelling structure, with the discovery of memories throughout Hyrule filling in the blanks left by the ambiguous narrative. During these cutscenes, players saw what happened to Zelda after she traveled back in time.
Players got to meet the first Queen of Hyrule, Sonia, while watching these memories. Sadly, due to the malicious actions of the always-devilish Ganondorf, Sonia went to her grave before her time.
Another memory showed her husband Rauru, the first King of Hyrule, mourning the loss beside a humble gravestone. Well, that grave shown in Memory 13, "A King's Duty," can be found in the playable timeline inside the Forgotten Temple.
If you head into the room with the seven stones representing the seven sages, you'll see a small stone with three sundelions around it in the far corner. That moss-overgrown rock is the grave of the first Queen of Hyrule.
Remembering to include this tiny crossover between the present day and the past was not only an incredible detail but also a fitting tribute to the character.
