The second instalment kickflipped its way onto the console in 2000 and BAM! Suddenly everyone was a devoted skate fanboy.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is a killer example of a sequel which built on its predecessor’s solid framework, refining its best features to the point of perfection.

Bigger levels, an improved course editor, more complex moves to pull off and a soundtrack of nothing but power chords made Tony Hawk’s 2 more extreme than the car chase in Mad Max: Fury Road.
