10 Mods That Make GTA Online The Perfect Game

Because who doesn't want to fly a dragon whilst listening to West Coast Classics?

PC gamers must laugh heartily at those mere mortals playing GTA Online on PS4 and Xbox One. Console players have a rich experience, no doubt (thanks, Rockstar), but their Los Santos is one devoid of flying cars, Disney characters, zombie outbreaks and dragons so mighty they'd look at home in Skyrim.

Confused? Let us explain.

The modding community is a budding digital metropolis in the PC world. There, GTA Online suddenly becomes more than a run-and-gun sandbox crime sim. It becomes truly alive, and the possibilities are endless. With so many mods on offer though, it's important to pick the ones that make your Online world the most fun.

Whether you want to go a gentle bike ride through the San Andreas countryside whilst still listening to Tupac or fancy playing as Tony Stark and wreaking havoc on the helpless gangs of Vespucci Beach, GTA's trusty mod monkeys have something for you...

10. Mobile Radio

GTA 5 Music
Rockstar Games

Let's start with something simple.

One of the problems with GTA generally is that the game's excellent radio stations suddenly stop whenever you leave a vehicle. This is particularly annoying when a favourite track starts blasting over Los Santos Rock Radio. Having to leap from a burning car just as the sax line drops in Baker Street is a constant worry.

The Mobile Radio mod stops this madness by keeping the tunes pumping regardless of what you're doing in-game. It's such a small change, but it's a long-overdue one.

Of course, you could just play your own tunes via Spotify, but then you'd miss out on all that witty banter from Kenny Loggins.
