10 MORE Bosses Removed For Being Too Hard

It's not much of a secret that Kingdom Hearts II was rushed out the door by Square Enix before it was really done cooking, resulting in a whole heap of content being removed from the game.

This included an original planned boss fight against Roxas. With a looming deadline and the developers apparently struggling to balance the difficulty of the fight, the decision was made to cut it entirely.

Instead, Sora's confrontation with Roxas in the Station of Awakening is a mere cutscene in the original version of the game. 

There was something of a happy ending, though, as the boss fight was restored as part of 2007's Final Mix re-release, though western fans had to wait until 2014 to play it as part of the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix collection.

Somewhat ironically, though, the Roxas boss fight is one of the hardest battles in the Final Mix version, and many have complained that it's simply too difficult for its own good. There really is no winning.
