6. Living As An Animatronic - Five Nights At Freddy's
There was once a time when the massively popular Five Nights At Freddy's franchise was an utter mystery, with online theorists piecing together the lore and story like a long, convoluted, overly intricate puzzle. However, there have been plenty of answers since then, one being what exactly the animatronics are, and it's a horrible fate to think about.
Freddy, Chica, Foxy and more are dead children whose spirits have become trapped inside the characters found at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. This happened after the maniacal William Afton, a serial killer and co-founder of the pizzeria, killed them and stuffed them into the suits.
Death was only the beginning of their suffering, as they now exist forever inside horrendous bodies with the influence of their murderer constantly hanging over them. They attack any adult they see, thinking they might get revenge on their killer, without knowing that he's secretly pulling the strings.
Of course, Afton himself faces a fate worse than death also, but no one would blame you for being less sympathetic towards his struggles than the kids he killed.
