10 Most Ridiculous Quick Time Events In Gaming

10. Hold X To Pay Respects (Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare)

Right up top, it would be paying the form a disservice to not immediately delve into the indisputably most stupid quick time event gaming has recently paid host to. Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been praised for taking Activision's insanely popular first person shooter series in a brave new direction, and plumping for a dazzling list of tinseltown talents to push its story forward: Taylor Kitsch appeared in the awesome adverts, and Kevin Spacey provides a fully motion-captured performance as (obviously), the game's villain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iLnnnrzPgw All of which make for a pretty involving, immersive and impressive package. That is, if it weren't for the seen fairly early on in the game - straight after the "pre-credits sequence", in fact - you attend a military funeral. Which is pretty morbid (and not very fun for a video game) as it is. Then the game asks you to hold down a button to pay your respects. You know, just how your brain works at an actual funeral. If you pull off a really tricky sequence of inputs, you might even be able to cry. You broken human being.
