1. Shrink Ray (Duke Nukem 3D)
The Duke Nukem series has never tried to take itself seriously for even a second, and hence it shouldn't be a surprise that it's showed up in this list. Duke Nukem 3D boasts the very best weapon in the series, a shrink ray that allows you to take some of the more challenging enemies in the game and reduce them to the size of a small rodent. You'll giggle at them running around for a moment, but if you move close, the game will take over and have Duke stomp them like an insect. In addition to this, it's possible to bounce the ray off a mirror and back to yourself, causing Duke to become miniature, allowing you to move through areas that would be unreachable in a normal size (though if you return to normal size during these sections, you will die).
