1. Reuniting The Lovers - Hades

In Hades, Zagreus has vowed to escape his father's maze-like underworld. When travelling through Asphodel, he (as well as the player) will be lost for words, upon hearing the euphoric melody of Eurydice.

The gifted musician informs Zag she was wed to the Thracian bard, Orpheus, but they split, since he was hired to serve Hades. To reunite the star-crossed lovers, Zagreus needs to buy Orpheus out of his contract.

This is much, much easier said than done. Zagreus must gift Orpheus with five Nectars before our demigod hero learns how to undo this arrangement. Because Nectar rarely spawns, Zagreus has to endure his father's insidious pit over and over, hoping to come across these juicy delectables.

When that's done, Zagreus has to do the same thing with Eurydice, before she agrees to see Orpheus. To meet the Muse, Zag must go through at least 15 dungeons. Because meeting Eurydice isn't guaranteed, the player has to hope Zag bumps into her. If the player meets Eurydice every time and has the five Nectars handy, Zag still needs to go through 65 demon-filled rooms before completing this part of the side-quest.

But that's not all. Zagreus must gain access to the Administrative Chamber, speak to Nyx about Orpheus' contract, and hand over three Diamonds to buy him out of it.

This mission may be unbearable at times, but the player will be glad they saw it to the end, once they hear Eurydice and Orpheus celebrating their reunion with an eye-watering duet.
