1. Strange Man - Red Dead Redemption
The Strange Man, as the name suggests, is one of the greatest mysteries of the Red Dead Redemption series. His appearance in the original game is shrouded in layers of mystery, stirring up a huge debate within the series' community trying to figure out if he is the devil, grim reaper, or some other occult entity entirely.
One of the reasons behind these otherworldly speculations is the fact that he appears to have an eerily detailed knowledge of John's life, including his ultimate fate.
After John finishes all missions related to the Strange Man, in which he tests John's morality and asks him about very specific events from his life as a criminal, the stranger meets the former gang member for the last time on the hill overlooking the Marston family's ranch. He tells John it is a good place, and while he doesn't elaborate to John what it's a good place for, the gunslinger's family figures it out later, when they end up burying John in the exact place the Strange Man was standing on.
