The Ace Attorney games have always been about putting the player in the shoes of Justice or to be more specific, a series of Lawyers looking to make sure that the truth comes out

In the fourth case of the brilliantly underrated Ace Attorney: Justice For All, you're presented with the murder of a TV show actor, and it's pretty obvious to everyone around that the fellow actor Matt Engarde is the guilty party.

Problem is that you're defending this man, and are doing so under duress because a mysterious assassin has kidnapped your friend and assistant Maya!

Therefore you have to try your damnedest to buy as much time as possible in order for the police to track down May's whereabouts.

What this translates to is actively persecuting an innocent and mentally unstable woman. It's a horrible and painfully drawn-out trial in which you attack with evidence that shakes the poor woman to the core, even though you know it's not her!

At certain points the jury even boos you, highlighting how awful this experience is. Yet you've no choice and even less chance to yell OBJECTION!
