10 Video Games That Knew EXACTLY Where You'd Go

5. Wesker's Desk (Resident Evil 2 Remake)

Remakes are fascinating as they need to tread the line between re-creating something great and surviving on their own merits. It's hard to think of a better example of this than Capcom's Resident Evil 2 remake, which blew the minds of both fans and newcomers back in 2019.

This game had its cake and ate it too, being its own thing whilst including plenty of fan service. Perhaps the best example of this is the Rebecca Chambers photo found in Wesker's Desk.

The original Resident Evil 2 included a bizarre Easter Egg that only the most stubborn gamers found, a photo of Rebecca Chambers in a basketball uniform. To get your hands on it, you had to go to Albert Wesker's desk and search it 50 times - yes really.

Naturally, many fans were keen to return to this desk in the remake to see if the devs would reward them for their prior knowledge. And reward they certainly did, as this iconic invasion of Rebecca and Wesker's privacy could still be achieved, albeit in a far simpler way. This time around, her sporty photoshoot could be unlocked by looting a film reel from Wesker's desk drawer and developing it.
