11 Unannounced Video Games We Know Are Coming

11. Resident Evil 3 Remake, Resident Evil 8 & Project REsistance

Resident Evil is back, baby. Thanks to the stellar reinvention of 7 and the back-to-basics beauty of the 2 remake, the horror franchise is back in good stead both critically and commercially, so it's no surprise that Capcom is planning on taking this renewed interest and capitalising on it with a bunch of new Resident Evil games.

By the time this article goes live, fans should only be a few days away from the official reveal of 'Project REsistance', a four-player co-op game that leaked prior to its Tokyo Game Show announce date. While a multiplayer spin-off isn't really what the audience is craving, there is hope that Capcom will treat it like a proper release, and not a Z-tier title like Operation Racooon City.

While that spin-off is the most pressing project, leaks over the past year have also suggested that Resi 8 and 3 are both in production as well.

The suggestion at the moment is that the latter could be the next proper entry in the franchise to release, thanks in part to the success of 2, and that 8 will follow afterwards on next-gen consoles.
