11 Upcoming PS5 Games We Know Are In Development

3. Gran Turismo 7

Where the hell is Gran Turismo 7?

Sure, GT Sport is filling the gap and satiating racing fans on the PS4, but the last numbered GT game came out at the tail-end of the PS3's life cycle, and a proper sequel has yet to materialise.

Recently though, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has openly discussed the follow up to Sport, confirming that another Gran Turismo is indeed in development. While not shedding too much light on the project, he did explain that, “the next title that we’re going to create will be a combination of the past, present and future – a complete form of Gran Turismo.”

That sounds like GT 7 to me, but knowing how long the devs at Polyphony Digital take to perfect each new release, there's a good chance it might not materialise until well into the PS5's life.
