12 Video Games That Can Save Nintendo Switch
It can't be another Wii U.
The Nintendo Switch is due for imminent release on March third, and there's a combination of excitement and anxiety about whether or not it's going to deliver where the Wii U unfortunately failed.
Even hardcore Nintendo fanboys will surely agree that January's big Switch reveal was rather underwhelming, with a launch line-up that seems rather lacking outside of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (which many will surely be playing on the Wii U).
Well, the Switch's overall success is dependent on a marathon, not a sprint, so how Nintendo handles the console-handheld hybrid over the first year or two will ultimately determine how well it performs and how it's remembered.
There are so many franchises that fans have been begging to see resurrected on a Nintendo platform for years, and now, they have the perfect opportunity to help bolster the Switch's line-up, as indicative of a company looking to make amends for their previous mistakes.
If even just a few of these titles are announced before the end of 2017, the future could be looking very bright for the platform indeed.

12. Rocket League
Why It Can Save The Switch: Because Rocket League has been thriving strong on the PS4, Xbox One and PC over the last 18 months, and Nintendo's basically been the odd one out by not developing a version of it for the Wii U.
The car football game has been nothing short of a phenomenon since release, and it'd be very much at home on the Switch because there's currently no other way to play the game portably short of using PS4 Remote Play on a PS Vita (which isn't ideal in terms of input lag and controls).
Plus, the potential to connect up to 8 Switch consoles together and play some 4v4 mayhem? How could that not be awesome?
How Likely Is It?: Developer Psyonix have already responded to fan requests for the game to get ported to the Switch, basically saying that they can hopefully make it happen but all sorts of boring red tape needs to get figured out first.
The platform seems made for it, but then again, Nintendo does have a history of making decisions counter to their well-being. Still, it's hard to believe this doesn't happen. 7/10
