13 Things That Could Completely Ruin Upcoming Video Games
6. Cloud-Based Destruction Is A Total Failure - Crackdown 3
Crackdown 3's big selling point is that online play will be supported by cloud-driven technology, allowing the game's huge, sprawling city to be destroyed with an unprecedented level of detail.
However, the lack of new information regarding the game has compounded fears that the cloud tech could be slowing the game's development as problems inevitably arise, and Reagent Games perhaps comes to realise the system is more trouble than it's worth.
How Likely Is It?: Very. The game was first announced at E3 2014, so it's long overdue a release, and even if Crackdown 3 actually hits stores this year, would it really surprise anyone at all if issues with servers and the cloud tech completely derailed it on day one?
With Microsoft having such a poor handle on the Xbox One's exclusives recently, it seems quite probable there are big problems here. 8/10
