6. Ubisoft Debuts Their New Avatar Game

Ubisoft confirmed a good while ago that they're working on a game based on James Cameron's Avatar, with development undertaken by Massive Entertainment (The Division).

With the publisher also confirming that the game won't see the light of day until fiscal year 2021 - that is, April 1, 2020 at the earliest - a glossy reveal at E3 feels more-or-less the right time to start banging the drum.

After all, with Cameron's second Avatar movie due to land in late 2020, it'd certainly make sense to start ramping up the PR campaign and remind everyone that, y'know, Avatar still exists.

No word on exactly what it'll be yet, though if it's not an open-world Games-as-a-Service title, it'd be absolutely shocking.
