15 Most Valuable Collector’s Editions Of Video Games

6. Dark Souls III Prestige Edition

How much it costs: £600+ (new) Dark Souls III isn't even out at time of writing, and yet already its Prestige Edition is going for an outrageous amount of money. You've got those pesky eBay resellers to thank for doubling the original asking price offered by retailers. You may scoff at the £600 price tag of the plush collection of exclusive extras, but never underestimate the extra lengths passionate fans are willing to go to in an effort to secure a special memento of their favourite games. It's not as if you're not getting something extremely cool for all that money, either. A collector's display case, art book, soundtrack and - the icing on the cake - a highly-detailed Lord Of Cinder statue are all yours if you ultimately decide to give in and let the resellers win. Mark my words, this is one collector's edition that's only going to increase in value in the years to come.
