8. The Beatles: Rock Band Limited Edition Premium Bundle
How much it costs: £340+ (new) What don't you get in this ridiculously self-indulgent box full of fake musical instruments? A bass guitar, drum kit, microphone (with stand) and numerous card inserts that unlock additional tracks and other in-game content probably represents the best value for money of all the collector's editions featured here. Granted, it doesn't sound like you get anything in this collector's edition that you wouldn't get in any iteration of the standard Rock Band games, so why the high price? I'm no expert, but it's probably got something to do with the box having 'The Beatles' slapped on the front of it, not to mention that the bass included is modelled after the Höfner bass used by Sir Paul McCartney. Beatles and video games memorabilia collectors are both after this one, and the asking price for a sealed version is rising as I write.
