20 Cult-Classics Trapped On Old Consoles

12. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

An often overlooked entry in the superhero video game genre, Ultimate Destruction allowed gamers to let loose in an open world as the Hulk and, well, destroy.

Released in 2005, just a year after the legendary Spider-Man 2 video game, Ultimate Destruction was the Hulk game we deserved. No forced stealth sections, no linear corridors or strange mutant dogs, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction lets you smash your own way through a city.

Ultimate Destruction wasn’t attached to any movie release, so it was free to do whatever it wanted with characters and story. Seeing Hulk fight off against Abomination and Devil Hulk was a sight to behold, but unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions, we’ll never get to see those sights again as Ultimate Destruction is trapped on the PS2, Xbox and GameCube.

The closest thing we had to a sequel to this game was the Prototype series, which is also a ton of fun to just run around and destroy everything in your path.
