No Final Fantasy would be complete without at least one superboss. Over the years, soul-stirring antagonists like Emerald Weapon, Yiazmat, and Ozma have left the biggest FF advocates quaking in their boots.

Although Final Fantasy XV has plenty of tough adversaries, none are on par with Adamantoise. This mountainous tortoise is a textbook example of an unfair boss, since he's heavily resistant to all damage, has astronomical HP, and is immune to most debuffs. His sluggishness isn't much of a detriment, since he can take down the heroes with one attack. As such, Adamantoise's defeat seems unfeasible unless Noctis and his companions are levelled up to the max.

But if players don't feel like doing that, cheating is the alternative. By wearing the Ring of Lucii, certain effects can be triggered on enemies, including Death. If Death is activated during this battle, Adamantoise will kick the bucket in an instant, sidestepping his ludicrous defences. 

It may not be a graceful way to vanquish this living mountain, but it's the easiest way to nab that sweet Tortoise Toppler Achievement by a long shot.
