By now everyone is aware of the amount of detail crammed into every nook and cranny of Red Dead Redemption 2. However, while most fans focus on hidden locations or clever Easter eggs, there is also another fun little mechanic that deserves equal praise.

Not because it’s some exciting secret or useful feature, but because it’s just hilarious to use.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 the player can interact with every single NPC with either a greet or antagonize action. However, what the game doesn’t tell you is that after your first greeting, you can keep using "greet" or "antagonize" to keep the conversation going.

Most players would naturally try to stick to just greeting or just antagonizing encountered NPCs, but the most hilarious interactions happen when you combine them together.

The old “Greet, Greet, Antagonize” combo is well-known among Red Dead players for being the ultimate way of setting up the best roasts imaginable. Every time you use this sequence of actions, Arthur will greet a person, say a compliment, and then find a way to somehow flip it around to make it hurt more than a bullet to the head.

The best part is that there are dozens of unique voice lines made just for this specific sequence, so Arthur will pretty much never run out of clever ways to build and break the people around him.
