17. The Duskbloods
The Duskbloods Release Date: TBD, 2026
When Nintendo fully revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 back in April, they shocked the world by also announcing that FromSoftware and director Hidetaka Miyazaki were developing a new action-RPG exclusive to the platform.
What further distinguishes The Duskbloods, however, is that it's a multiplayer game that supports up to eight players, each of whom chooses a vampire-like character to partake in both PvP and PvE combat.
When the initial reveal trailer for the game dropped, many immediately mistook it as Bloodborne 2, and considering it's rocking a very similar gothic, Victorian-era aesthetic, it's easy to see why.
The "spiritual successor" label certainly fits, then, even if the multiplayer aspect clearly follows in the footsteps of the studio's recent Elden Ring Nightreign.
Miyazaki has assured fans, however, that FromSoftware hasn't abandoned their single-player roots, and we shouldn't expect an explicit multiplayer focus in all of the studio's future titles.
Needless to say, if this is as good as it looks like it's going to shift a whole ton of Switch 2 consoles next year.
