While many people would assume the, you know, assassinating is the best feature of Ubisoft's monumental Assassin's Creed series, plenty would say it's actually the incredible historical settings. Hell, what other games allow you to parkour across some of the most well-known monuments across the world? It's the perfect blend for fans of history and gaming.

While the likes of Notre-Dame and the Colosseum deserve their flowers, there's nothing quite like climbing up one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Given its Egyptian setting, Assassin's Creed: Origins had to pull this landmark off in its full glory, which it certainly did. The Great Pyramid is rendered in its accurate colossal scale, with the climb to the top making you feel like an ant scaling a mountain. On top of that, you can even go inside, with the interior reflecting real-life explorations of this unbelievable landmark.

If you can't afford to go see the Pyramids in real life, just play this game. You're not allowed to climb them in the real world anyway.
