20 Upcoming Games GTA 6 Has RUINED 2026 For
19. Pragmata
Boasting a slick world design, exciting action that plays like a mash-up of Dead Space, Stellar Blade, and Vanquish, and the promise of a touching central duo, you would assume things are looking good for Pragmata. But... initially revealed back in 2020 at the PlayStation 5 showcase, this sci-fi-tinged effort from Capcom has been cooking for years and is finally slated for a 2026 release - it could be a fatal mistake.
Capcom is one of the most consistent AAA publishers around, with everything they’ve released since Resident Evil 7 carrying real polish and quality. Yet their forays into new IP are rare, and the results, Exoprimal and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, while solid, failed to ignite sales and were quickly sidelined. Fortunately, both were mid-budget experiments.
Pragmata doesn’t have that safety net. It’s a full-scale big-budget action game that’s been cooking for a long time. Launching anywhere near or after GTA VI would be a death sentence, as it lacks the instant pull of a Devil May Cry or Resident Evil entry. With the latter’s next installment arriving early next year, Capcom likely won’t risk sabotaging their own lineup - Pragmata's best chance is a late-year release window.
