3. Resident Evil 4 Has Been Ported ELEVEN Times
Whilst it's become a running joke in the gaming community that Skyrim has been ported several times, let's not forget what came first.
Starting off with its release in 2005, Resident Evil 4 already caused grief with its announced PS2 port just months before the supposed "exclusive" GameCube version came out.
Then it had a PC port that wasn't very good, a mobile port and a return to the Nintendo via the Wii. This is only by the end of 2008.
By 2011, RE4 was making the leap to other seventh-generation consoles; the PS3 and Xbox 360. Surely that would be enough of a HD port for a GameCube game, right?
Apparently not, as it has since been released on the eighth generation under a new HD moniker, as well as an 'Ultimate HD Edition' for PC. Again. Only this time, it's a more functional version than the last PC port.
At last count, 2019's Nintendo Switch port was the final one. But this is Capcom, remember...
