2K have announced two separate DLC packs for the upcoming release of WWE 2K19.

The first, called 'Rising Stars', will feature playable versions of NXT's Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Lacey Evans, Lio Rush and Ricochet. Main roster members Maria Kanellis, Mike Kanellis are also included. The second, 'Titans', has NXT's EC3 and War Raiders (Rowe and Hanson) as well as Raw's Bobby Lashley.

It doesn't look like the team expect to release further DLC packs down the line, although there is time for that to change and the game will probably get some sort of 'Hall Of Fame' or 'Legends' pack to bolster the roster sometime before the end of the year.

The usual Accelerator and MyPlayer KickStart packs are there, and so is a New Moves pack showcasing "more than 50 in-game moves" that won't be available on-disc out of the box; some 2K announced include an Atomic Drop into Double Leg Combo (Jeff Hardy) and an Exploder Suplex on the apron (made popular by NXT's Tyler Bate).

Other than that, there's a Season Pass available. It's all slightly underwhelming, even if Lashley is a nice marquee name 2K can lead with.

WWE 2K19 launches worldwide on 9 October. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe or any Collector's Edition will be able to play four days early on 5 October.
