Not much is known about Rare's swashbuckling adventure game Sea of Thieves, except that it's coming to Xbox One and PC, and that despite its relatively cartoonish visual palette, it features possibly the most eye-pleasing water effects known to gaming. It's said that the two hardest elements to replicate in a computer are fire and water, yet going by this gorgeous imagery, it seems like Rare may have pretty much mastered it. It looks just as fantastic in motion, too, so now there's the simple hope that the gameplay's actually worth all that evident aesthetic effort.
