7 Wii U Games We NEED On Nintendo Switch

2. Yoshi's Woolly World

Both New Super Mario Bros. U and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze have gotten ported from the Wii U to the Switch, so why not the other notable 2D platformer from the Wii U, Yoshi's Woolly World. Yoshi's Woolly World is an amazing 2D platformer with a beautiful, unique art style that needs to be seen by more people.

Now at first it may seem unlikely that this game will get a port to the Switch as it has already been ported to the Nintendo 3DS but that doesn't exclude the game from getting a Switch release, just look at Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Hyrule Warriors, both games that have been ported to both the 3DS and the Nintendo Switch.

The real thing that might actually prevent Yoshi's Woolly World from coming to the Switch is the upcoming Yoshi's Crafted World which looks very similar to Yoshi's Woolly World and might confuse consumers. Nintendo may not see the need for two 2D Yoshi platformers on one console and because of this, unfortunately, there is a high chance Nintendo will leave Yoshi's Woolly World as a Wii U and 3DS exclusive.
