8 Upcoming Superhero Games That Could Be The Next Batman: Arkham

Telltale Games has produced two seasons of its Batman series thus far, and both have been fantastic. Looking beyond the glaring technical issues with the engine used to make the games, the story Telltale has crafted is nothing short of incredible.

The developer isn't afraid to take chances and change the backstories and motivations of established characters. For example, Harvey Dent may or may not become Two-Face, depending on the choices you make. Also, Bruce Wayne's parents may not be who he thought they were; Catwoman may be a friend or foe; and Alfred may be your biggest supporter, or ardent nay-sayer. Those are just a few examples of how multi-faceted the characters are, and how unique your journey can be.

The second season focused on Bruce Wayne infiltrating a gang made up of Harley Quinn, Bane, Riddler, Mr. Freeze, and John Doe. The season ends with some massive ramifications and potential set-ups for a third season, and if Telltale do go back to Gotham once more, it would round out the best Batman story in gaming.
