8 Video Games EVERYBODY Played (But Nobody Talks About)
1. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
Sold: 70,000,000 copies
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is the fifth best selling game of all time but the second a better title in the battle royale genre appeared aka Fortnite, everybody stopped caring about being a winner winner chicken dinner, and instead wanted those sweet victory royales.
Fortnite just has a more appealing art style, is less buggy, and the gameplay is more fun. Oh, and it's free, with PUBG you'd have to convince your friends to pay real money to play with you whilst with Fortnite, anyone could play.
That and faster matches just led to everybody being able to enjoy Fortnite whilst PUBG required more patience to enjoy as you'd be seeing enemy players much less frequently.
If Fortnite didn't exist then people would probably still be talking about PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds because the game is still really fun, it's just that Fortnite did everything PUBG did but better.
It may have sold 70,000,000 copies, but Fortnite has 350,000,000 players so it's easy to tell which game won the battle of the battle royales.
