9 TERRIFYING Horror Games Still Coming In 2020
1. Amnesia: Rebirth
After a long absence, Frictional Games are finally returning to the Amnesia franchise with a brand new entry, Rebirth, slated to release later this year.
After pretty much defining what a modern first-person horror game plays like with the original, with this follow up the devs are not planning on simply delivering "more Amnesia" but updating the concept in an original, and potentially controversial, way.
Taking place one hundred years after the original, the upcoming game will still feature some hallmarks fans have come to expect - including a protagonist suffering from memory loss, obviously - but is aiming to reinvent what the series can be.
We know Frictional can bring the scares, and after SOMA we know they can bring the story, so Rebirth will hopefully be able to do for horror games in 2020 what the first did for them in the 2010s.
