Assassin's Creed Valhalla: 10 Best Early Items & Where To Find Them
2. The Sepulcher Axe
While talking to the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok during The Kingmaker's Saga you'll hear an impressive story about the day Ivarr the Boneless almost cleaved Thegn Leofrith in two by throwing his Sepulcher Axe across the River Trent. And after spending some time exploring an area called Offchurch in the southern-most region of Ledecestrescire, you might find this axe in the possession of a worthy Viking once more.
But unlike the other weapons on this list, the Sepulcher Axe can only be obtained while taking part in the 3rd chapter of The Kingmaker's Saga. During this story arc Eivor is asked to investigate the hideout of King Burgred which just so happens to be a crypt in Offchurch. Once you've found and defeated the King don't be too hasty to get a move on, as a wealth chest can be found hiding away in his chamber. This chest contains Ivarr's Sepulcher Axe, which is a fine Dane Axe that stacks with the Path of the Raven.
Wielding this two-handed weapon will not just give you a sense of history though, as it comes with the ability to ignite your weapons with fire after every successful critical hit. Since humans and beasts alike don't take kindly to being set alight, the Sepulcher Axe is always a great option.
