Batman: Arkham City, now truly is the time to make the plunge. Personally I was going to wait until I had completed Batman: Arkham Asylum (which I still haven't played all the way through) but I know many of you were probably awaiting the inevitable price drop and it came today. Play.com are selling Batman: Arkham City for an incredible £17.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360, which includes free delivery to the UK. I'm not sure how long it will stay at this price so make sure you act quickly folks! The website says the cut off Christmas date for their online store is December 18th, which is next Sunday, presumably for dispatch on the Monday, a week from today. Though there's no guarantees it will stay at this price until then. Meanwhile, as you have probably noticed by the large television campaign, another big game of 2011 - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has dropped from it's full price too in recent weeks. Retailers are of course setting a dangerous precedent for the future. Why buy an anticipated game within the first month of release when you can buy it some weeks later for half price or more?
