2. EMP Rifle

Seen in: The Dark Knight Rises Regardless of what your opinions on Dark Knight Rises actually come down to, that scene where Bruce finally re-dons the cape n' cowl before taking to an underground tunnel with a over-sized EMP gun is always brilliant. Sadly afterwards it's vastly underused, coming out for this big re-appearance and that's it - but in Knight, going off how villains like Two-Face are shown to hop in cars and burn away down the highway, it'd be just as easy to whip out the EMP and send them careening into a nearby building. Arkham Knight is going to feature vehicular combat as a mainstay gameplay mechanic, so it makes sense that we should have a weapon we can deploy from on-foot that can disable any heftier armour coming our way. So far it seems like electric shocks are going to be featured pretty frequently too, so if you thought you could run people down in the Batmobile, instead it'll quickly shock and incapacitate them should you get too close. The overall scale of warfare is something we're yet to see based off the footage released so far, but if there's any chance of disabling large unmanned drones out the sky with weaponry such as an EMP gun, then sign us up.
