BORDERLANDS 2 Officially Announced

Game is scheduled to be released some time during Take-Two's fiscal year 2013, which means between April 1st 2012 and spring 2013.

rumors surfaced about the existence of Borderlands 2, Take-Two has officially announced the game is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. According to the press release the game is scheduled to be released some time during Take-Two's fiscal year 2013, which means the game should be released somewhere between April 1st 2012 and spring 2013. 2K Games official statement:

"Combining invention and evolution, Borderlands 2 features all-new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story, Players will reveal secrets, and escalate mysteries of theBorderlands universe as they adventure across the unexplored new areas of Pandora."
In addition, we will get our first look at the game very soon because according to Take-Two, the game will be on display at Gamescom 2011 in Germany later this month from August 17 - August 21 and at PAX Prime in Seattle from August 26 - August 28. Borderlands 2 will also have a September front page feature in GameInformer magazine.
