Breath Of The Wild 2: 7 Bold Predictions From The E3 Trailer
3. There Will Be A Different World To Explore
It is very unlikely that we will be revisiting Hyrule in Breath of the Wild 2. The trailer shows that Hyrule Castle is going somewhere, and it is likely that Link and Zelda will be going with it. If the game was using the same map as well as the majority of the same assets from the original Breath of the Wild the game would probably be out by now (and a bit disappointing).
So where will the game be set? Seeing that the game has been confirmed to not be linked to Majoras Mask it is safe to assume that Termina is off the table. Somewhere similar to Skyloft might be where Hyrule Castle is floating towards but because that would completely undermine the hugely open design of Breath of the Wild it is unlikely.
It is most likely to be a completely new world that we haven't seen before. Breath of the Wild isn't linked much to previous Zelda games apart from the odd reference so it is unlikely that its sequel will suddenly take you to a world which was the focus of a previous Zelda game.
