Call of Duty has been a household name in the gaming industry for several console generations. Since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the Military FPS genre has been doing its best to reach that level of success again.
While Call of Duty's online multiplayer component can be credited as the reason for its meteoric success, the single-player campaigns should also be taken into account. From the chaotic battlefields of The Second World War to the far reaches of Outer Space, each Call of Duty entry has a story to tell.
