There are many things you have to learn quickly if you want to do well in a battle royale game. Know the best places to land for loot. Plan your route around the map. Keep an eye out for enemies while also trying to stay ahead of the circle. Communicating efficiently with your team during a firefight. The list goes on and on.

But when it comes to weapons, beggars can't be choosers. At the end of the day, a weapon is a weapon and as long as it gets the job done, anything is better than nothing. But thankfully, Call of Duty Warzone allows players to call in their own custom loadouts from Buy Stations and Random Loadout Drops.

Therefore, it’s important to know what are the best weapons in the game and what the best attachments for said weapons are. So with that in mind, here are 10 of the best weapons that you should be using in Warzone. As always though, bear in mind this list was written shortly after the Season 5 launch and patches, so you may have to grind your way to some of these attachments.

Fortunately, it will all be worth it in the end.

It is always handy just to have that one shotgun class ready to roll whenever you need it the most. With the ability to tear through multiple enemies at once with a single shot, it comes as no surprise that the shotgun is the weapon of choice for any close quarters combat scenario. Which is going to happen pretty regularly when you run in and out of the many buildings of Verdansk with narrow corridors.

Now although the 725 does have impressive range and damage for a shotgun, it can only fire two rounds of ammunition before you need to reload again. If it could fire more, then it would be the obvious choice, but for Warzone, the Origin 12 is the best shotgun for you to use.

Attaching the Choke Muzzle, Forge Tac Impaler Barrel and the 5mw Laser while removing the stock will help improve damage and keep you mobile. Top it off with a 12 round mag and the Sleight of Hand perk and you have a shotgun that will allow you to outmanoeuvre most enemies while keeping up a quick rate of fire.
